Cambridge is a university town in England. Cambridge is in East Anglia and is about 50 miles from the capital city of London.

Cambridge is probably best known for being the home of the University of Cambridge.

Cambridge is twinned with two cities Heidelberg in Germany and Szeged in Hungary. Like Cambridge, both these cities have universities and a similar population.

Cambridge is a historical city and has although maybe best know for its university it does have a lot more to offer. Cambridge has many historic sites to see such as the historic market place. There are some great independent shops as well as all the major high street shops to make the perfect shopping experience. And if you get hungry or thirsty then there are plenty of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants. If you get fed up with the shopping then you can always try visiting one of the museums and art galleries.
